Kreuh was born on 25 February 1966 in Maribor. Initially, he had studied economics. From 1989 to 1994 he studied sculpture at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in the class of Prof Lujo Vodovpivec, whereas the theoretical part of his graduation work was supervised by Prof Srečo Dragan. During his post-graduate studies (1994-1996 at the same academy), he combined sculpture (Prof Jože Barši) and video (Prof Srečo Dragan), which at the time was not yet an official course of study.
He participated in the activities of the Provokart student group. He regularly attends international computer art festivals in Maribor (since 1995). His work was included in the U3 Triennial of Slovene Contemporary Art by two different selectors (Moderna Galerija 1997 and 2000). He exhibited at Manifesta 3 (Ljubljana 2000), and in 2003 he was invited to present his work at the Future Cinema exhibition at the Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie in Karlsruhe.
The concepts of his first sculptures were already interactive - works combining different materials that reacted to touch. In the course of his further exploration of manipulation systems within digital technologies, his work became increasingly sophisticated, resembling virtual reality, although economically less feasible.
He has founded a company, Navidez Interaktivni sistemi d.o.o., that develops, promotes and markets technologies that bridge the gap between computers and people. The company has participated in the making of the virtual exhibition on the history of Ljubljana at Ljubljana Castle, staged a virtual interactive puppet show and designed computer animations for several programmes of Televizija Slovenija.
